Studiopress Genesis Theme Framework- SEO Proof

I have mentioned to several people lately how much of a difference the the SEO options included in the WordPress theme Genesis Framework by Genesis is. I wanted to write a post to prove how much better my search engine optimization is.

I design and create blogs and sites for bloggers and businesses daily. In the past I have recommended using an SEO plugin such as All In One SEO or Headspace 2. In fact I have used those plugins in the past. Until about the middle of last month.

I have been a long time user of the Genesis Theme Framework by Studiopress. In an update a few months back Studiopress integrated SEO options. At the time I was using Headspace 2 and turned it off to use Studiopress, but noticed all my previous SEO efforts were gone. So I turned it back on.

I then noticed in December that Studiopress had made an additional plugin to import all your settings from whatever SEO plugin you were using into the Genesis SEO options. I installed the plugin and preformed the import. Within 2 days I saw a HUGE difference. Here is a screen shot of my weekly stats to show you the proof.

See the jump in my traffic over the last few weeks? This was the same time I changed and started using the SEO options available in Genesis. Here is another screenshot. This one is from my Google Webmaster Tools and my search visibility.

As you can see, my search visibility has gone way up. I blame all this great new traffic on the SEO options in my Genesis theme. For those of you using the Genesis Theme Framework, I highly suggest for you to utilize the SEO options that is included. You can install the Studiopress plugin to import all your previous settings from what ever SEO plugin you are currently using.

This is my SEO testimony.

      Go under: users–>> Your Profile

Then choose the option to show your profile below posts. Also fill in the bio area. You can use HTML. This is what will show below the posts. You can also choose to show it on author archives if you have more than one author.

OK I feel like an idiot but where do I find the Genesis SEO options. I had that All in One SEO plug in and now I have Yost. I would love to get rid of both of these and just use those with Genesis but I am not sure how to enable the Genesis SEO package. Please help!

PS I LOVE your blog Jessica such great info!

You wont see the genesis options just yet. Download the plugin I linked to, install it and then follow the instructions. It will walk you thru importing you info then deactivate the seo plugin you already have. First make sure it can transfer the settings from Yost. I am not familiar with that plugin.

Wow. I have been using Genesis and a few other wordpress plug ins. I really haven’t noticed any change in integrating adsense or any of that. I will have to check out this studiopress. I have seen and heard about it, but looking at your chart really makes me want to see what it can do for my site.
