Spring is here, and in Southeast Texas that means the temperature is slowly creeping up to the 90′s. Break out the shorts and flip flops if you ever put them up. There are several money saving activities that can be done right here at home in Southeast Texas. With Houston and Galveston being just a hop. skip, and a jump away, daily activities are just a drive away. This is some of my favorites.
- Crystal or Galveston Beach
- Shangri La in Orange
- The Art Museum of Southeast Texas in Beaumont
- San Jancinto Monument
- Houston Zoo
All of these places I love to go with my kids. Even though they are not younger they still enjoy spending time family. (sometimes)
