So now that I have received the hard drive I have to show you what I did with it. I have an older laptop with only 140GB of hard drive space. Because I do graphic and blog design, I have most of the space taken. Not to mention that I am a mom of 4 so you know I have tons of digital pictures.

When I received my Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex hard drive I immediately took it out of the package and plugged it in. It was like a little Christmas present to me. I have shopped for hard drives in the past and could not make a decision of which one to get or even what size to purchase. The first files I moved over were my picture and graphic files. That took up a lot of space on my hard drive. I don’t delete any files after I make a site just in case they are needed in the future.

The next set of files I moved were movies and music. I then deleted the files off of my computer to free up the space. Then I did a bit of clean up. Tomorrow I will probably move my stock pile of  WordPress themes. I now know that 500GB is plenty of space for what I need. I don’t keep actual movies or much music on my computer. If you do you may need a Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex 1TB external hard drive.

I swear I dont know where all my hard drive space goes!
have a WD passport drive, but am always afraid to delete the content off my main pc.
I also have a backup of all my photos on my Google account in picasa.
