Being involved in online communities helps those of us that are at home all day, like WAHM‘s,socialize with others. I have been involved in online mom communities for about 10 years. Long ago I started my online presence with a moms community group on MSN groups called YoungMums2Talk. We were a very active community with lots of involvement and included women that were and were not moms. I wish I could find some of the members today. As life continued for everyone, online and offline, and MSN discontinuing the groups, we all went our separate ways. I miss us moms networking online.
There is a large online community called CafeMom today that is very active. There are even groups for my local Beaumont area along with places all over the country. I like that you can set up your own profile page and really interact with others moms online that may have interests in common with you. CafeMom is another website for moms regardless if they are bloggers or not.
If you are not familiar with CafeMom you should check this online mom community.

I have been looking for this type of community since I started working from home about six months ago. I recently moved due to my husband’s job and now commute back and forth to Texas once a month. I miss being in the office, so I will definitely take a look at CafeMom and even see if they have a group in Memphis. Thanks!
