How Do You Say That… In Texas

I was visiting blogs today and stopped by Cat had a video about different dialects from around the country and how everybody says things differently. She got the idea after reading another blogger who did this. I thought it was interesting. I am from Southeast Texas, moved to western Illinois for 8 years and have been back in Southeast Texas for the last 5 years. So I have a unique accent in my opinion. People in Illinois says I talk like a Texas, but Texans don’t seem to think so. So here is my video. You tell me what you think I sound like…

Definitely Texan. If you hadn’t told me you were from Texas, I still would have pegged that (or at least something Southern). :)

Too funny. My answers to the questions reminded me of how much of a Texan I really am. Loved it.

    Hey Jess
You do have an accent. The part of IL you lived in also has an accent. However my MIL says its country not southern. I grew up saying ya’ll, moved to LA and everyone there would say I picked up their accent….nope..Have a good day…fun listening to everyones accents!
