This week I will be headed to Detroit/Dearborn to the Ford Headquarters on June 21 – 23, 2011 – Dearborn, MI for Forward With Ford. This will be the second time I have visited Ford Headquarters. The last time was right after CES for NAIAS and it was cold as heck. One of our tasks was to test drive a Ford on their state of the art track. Well, a snow storm blew in and that was the end of that.
This time I get to travel up to Detroit and at least it will be warmer. I am excited to see Detroit in the warmer weather.
I will be joining Ford Motor Company for Forward with Ford 2011, an exclusive two-day media program that will explore global trends and issues facing consumers now and forward into the future.
Forward with Ford 2011 will bring together expert futurists and key trend-spotters as well as Ford’s designers, scientists and product specialists to explore what’s influencing the choices facing consumers today and tomorrow. From lifestyles and occupations, to transportation and technologies, we will have the opportunity to participate in discussions, interviews and product experiences with the experts.
Hosted in Dearborn, Mich, home to Ford’s World Headquarters, we will also have the unique opportunity to go behind the scenes for an exclusive preview of Ford’s laboratories, design studios and worldwide proving grounds for a look at Ford’s innovative solutions to meet the demands of the future.
